Re: How to become an Income Tax Officer? To join Income Tax Department you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams This Exam is conducted by SSC each year. This exam is held in three stages- that is Tier 1, Tier 2 and Interview Education: Graduation pass in any stream No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation AGE- Minimum 18 years Maximum 27 years AGE Relaxations- 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams: >> General Intelligence and Reasoning >> General Awareness >> English Comprehension >> Quantitative Aptitude |

Re: How to become an Income Tax Officer? hai, ITO-Income Tax officer exam is conducted by the SSB(Staff Selection Commission) once in a year to join as Income tax officer exam first you need to write CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university. Final year candidates can also be eligible. You must be a citizen of india. The age limits is 18 years to 27 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates., 10 years upper age relaxation for the Physically handicaped candidates. To join as an income tax officer you need to appear the CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam). Eligibility: The candidate should be citizen of India. The candidate should complete the Graduation from recognized University. Final Year candidates are eligible. There is no percentage required. The candidate age limit should be between 18 to 27 years. Re: How to become an Income Tax Officer? Hello, You need to write Staff Selection Commission(SSC) exam. For the being an Income tax officer you should be a graduate. The age limit is 18-27 yrs. Hope this helps |
