Re: Can girls apply for NDA entrance exam? Hai Friend...., According to the eligibility criteria of NDA Girls are not eligible to apply for this exam. As this exam is only for the Unmarried male candidates. The male candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam or has appeared in the 12th board exam are only eligible. But girls can apply for the various defence services through CDS and UES exam. If you are studying or want to study the engineering then you may apply through University entry Scheme(UES) or through Combined defence Service examination (CDSE). You can also apply for the CDSE if you don't study engineering after the completion of your engineering. So NDA exam is not for the girls. This exam is only for the male candidates. If you have interest in doing defence services then you can join by the above method explained. ......GOOD LUCK...... |

No girls cannot apply for NDA exam because only male candidate can apply for it. Instead of it, they can apply only for OTA in CDS. OTA or Officer's Yraining academy exam is CDS exam conducted by UPSC. Eligibility for CDS exam – Candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university. candidate's age should be between 19 years to 24 years. Candidate should be unmarried. CDS exam is conducted in three stages – 1- Written exam 2- Interview 3- Medical examination. So, you can go for CDS exam, if you have done graduation. |

Dear Friend Girls are not eligible to apply or appear for the NDA examinations as per rules and regulations of the Union Public service commission due to the fact that it is strictly followed that only unmarried male candidates are allowed to apply of the exam. Friend sorry ,you are not eligible for it .There is one other option for you if you are so much interested in joining defense that Combined defense services examinations. This examination is also conducted by the Union Public service commission twice every year .For this exam both male and female candidates can apply for the exam. You should have bachelor's degree as the minimum requirement for the exam.The age limit is 19-25 years . Re: Can girls apply for NDA entrance exam? NDA(National Defence Academy)is conducted two times every year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

Eligibility criteria for NDA :- 1] The aspirant must be a citizen of India. 2] The aspirant must be unmarried male. 3] The age limit of the candidate must be between 16.5 to 19 years. 4] The candidate must be completed his 12th class from any recognized board.
