Re: Can I join Indian Army after B.Com? hi, Joining Army is not a tougher job, Just you need to have Some officers like quality if you are aspiring to join Army as a commissioned officer. There are various modes through which a guy can join Indian Army.After 12 and After graduation or Any Degree. As you are a B.com guy and have crossed 19 years of age then CDSE i.e Combined Defense Services is an Exam you can apply for it. One more Entry is open for you i.e SSC (Short Services Commission) . in which you can directly face SSB in contrast to your Academics results in B.com. How to fill them ?? Keep tracking Employment News. For CDSE and SSC.Even you can refer the Website of Upsc government. www.upsc.gov.in If you have still left with any query ,You are open to ask. thanks |

yes you can surely go for a career option as an army officer. you can join indian army after passing 12th also. science stream is only required in airforce and in some cases in navy also. but army only requires graduates either science graduate or commerce graduate or arts graduate.... so apply for indian army and make your parents proud.... thanks |

CDS is one of the Defense service exam of India and this exam is being carried out by UPSC Union Public Service Commission.This exam is conducted for candidates to join defense forces in Categories For defense Forces Indian Military Academy Indian Navy Indian Air Force Officer Training Academy For Air Force Academy: Opting students must have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. You must have Degree of a Recognized University or Bachelor of Engineering degree. For Indian Military Academy Candidate with Degree from a recognized university or equivalent are only eligible. For Naval AcademyCandidate should have B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or must have Bachelor of Engineering passed. B.Com students can join indian army after graduation. to join in Indian amry, you have to appear an qualify UPSC exam. through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army. the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is minimum graduation in qualification with 55% marks. age limit 21-29 years. all the best. |

Yes, You can join indian army through:- CDSE(Combined Defence Services Exam) conducted by UPSC twice a year as CDSI and CDSII Age Limit- 19 to 24 yrs as on 1st day of commencement of course i.e. 1st July for CDSI and 1st Jan for CDSII. Educational Qualification- Graduation form a recognized university. However you are not eligible for Navy or Air Force since you do not have Physics and Maths. Good Luck |

Re: Can I join Indian Army after B.Com? Dear, Yes, you can join the Indian Army . ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :- 10+2 pass students with Physics , Chemistry , Maths with 70% are eligible for it. Age limitation is between 16.5 to 19.5 years so here a problem can arise . But look for it and all the best. Thanks. |

Hello friends, All those who are from commerce background can join indian army after completing graduation, through :- 1.Combined Defence Services exam conducted by UPSC twice a year. Age limt:-19 to 24 yrs 2.Short Service Commission.Age limit 19 to 25 yrs. Keep track and respond to the advertisement published in Employment news/Rozgar Samachar. If you have NCC you can also go through NCC entry. Age limt 19-25yrs. Qualification-Graduate with 50% Aggregate marks, 2 Yrs service in NCC Senior Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam. |

The Combined Defence Service(CDSE) examination is conducted by the UPSC for the graudate candidate. The detailed eligibility criteria for the CDSE exam is given below: Education Qualification Candidates who have completes their graduation are eligible to apply for this entry scheme. Candidates who are in Final year of graduation are also eligible for this entry scheme. The UPSC holds an all-India competitive examination, known as the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE), twice a year for University graduates or equivalent. Eligibility: Educational qualification: For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent. For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering. For Air Force Academy: B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering. Age limit: Candidate should be in the age of 19-24.
