 CMJ University is the University Grant Commission (UGC) approved University and established by the government of Meghalaya as per section 2(f) of UGC act 1956. But CMJ University is not approved by AICTE . UGC approval document Click Here . I have attached the list of courses in CMJ university so please check it out. Dear, Yes, the CMJ University is notified by UGC, New Delhi as state private university under section 2(f) and empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC vide its letter no. F.No. – 8-21/2010 (CPP-1/PU) Dated 25th November 2010. The CMJ University being a University (duly recognized by the UGC) is authorized to start and conduct new programmes/courses, without obtaining prior approval of the AICTE. However, for the purpose of ensuring coordinated and integrated development of technical education, and maintenance of standards, the AICTE may cause an inspection and render advise. |
