The acronym for IFS is Indian Forest Services. Yes, you are eligible to apply for iFS entrance examination. UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) conducts IFS examination one time every year. The eligibility criteria required for the IFS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in Engineering/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science/Botany/Chemistry/Geology/Agriculture/Forestry/ Mathematics/Physics/Statistics/Zoology from any accredited college or university. * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs. * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders. * Nationality:- Indian. The selection procedure for the IFS examination is mentioned as below:- * Preliminary examination. * Mains examination. * Personnel interview.  IFS stands for Indian Forest Service.This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once. IFS Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year in two stages : a) Preliminary Examination b) Main Examination. Those candidate have graduation degree from Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent are applicable for IFS exam. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. Physical Requirement for IFS Exam :- Height:- Minimum height required for men is 165 cm Minimum height required for women is 150 cm Weight is depend on the height basis . Ear :- 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment should not be more than 30 decibels. Eye sight :– 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.
