Dear Friend, * If you are really interested with computers, you can go well with information technology or either computer science engineering. * There are lots more courses other than engineering like arts and sciences. * This branch is like a sea and you many many wider courses which have better career prospectus. As you said that you have great interest in computers thats why you want to go for the computers field but you do not want to go for engineering side.But my friend there are so many other fields exist which are related to the computers and you can do those according to your choice and interest.  Except engineering there is one graduation course which is almost same as engineering but have more about computers that course is BCA.BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application and it is the graduation course which is all about the computers. And one course is also there that is B.Sc(IT).It is also related to the computers and after completion of either BCA or B.Sc(IT) you can go for MCA.MCA stands for Masters in Computer Application and it is the post graduation course all about the computers.  After completion of MCA you can get a job in some software company.As there are so many good software companies for which you can apply either on-campus or off-campus and it is your own choice which you want. You can apply for the recruitment process in any of the software company but the thing is that you should be good in aptitude and your communication skills and technical skills should also be good.So you should be perfect in these.  The following are the some companies in which you can apply. 1.TCS 2.IBM 3.Google 4.Microsoft 5.Infosys 6.Tech Mohindra and many more.  You can also go for short term courses in computers if you want.Here is the list of short term courses which you can do after 12th: 1.C++ 2.C# 3.HTML 4.DHTML 5.Dot NET 6.JAVA 7.PHP 8.Android 9.Advance Java 10.Java script 11.Photoshop 12.CSS etc. Thank u!! |

Hi friend,there are lot of computer courses after finishing 12th.The available oppertunities are 1.B.SC computers 2.B.E in computers science engineering. 3.BCA 4.BBM After doing B.Sc computers you can go for MCA pg course which is computers application course. After B.E in computer science engineering you can go for M.TECH in computer application. |

What else can I do except engineering? hi! friend.. for you BCA is he best option . but as you are maths student then you can apply for IIT-JEE & AIEEE exams , after qualifying them you can choose computer science as your stream in B.TECH degree. |

Many companies offer vacancies for BCA students. If you did not find suitable after BCA you can do MCA or MBA. There is lot of opportunities for a MCA and MBA guy. you can do b.SC in IT. Many institutions offers B.SC in IT. Then you go for MCA. |
