Re: Can a candidate be eligible to join Air Force after completion of 10th Class? No. After completing 10th you cannot apply for any exam to join Air Force. You have to complete 12th with Maths as a compulsory subject. To join Indian Air Force after 12th, you have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year as NDA I & NDA II. NDA - National Defence Academy ====================================== ♦ Through NDA you can also join Indian Army & Navy. ♦ NDA conducts Written test & Interview for recruitment to Air Force/Army/Navy wings. Eligibility criteria for NDA(Air Force): You should have passed 12th standard with Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subjects from recognized school. There is no percentage limit mentioned for NDA exam. If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply. Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year. You should be an Unmarried Male candidate. You must be an Indian . Physical eligibility for NDA: > Vision Standards :  > Height weight :  ♦ For more detail regarding NDA, visit www.nda.nic.in ================================================== ============================= You can also join Air force after completing graduation. 1. Through CDS 2. Through AFCAT CDS (Combined Defence Services) Examination ________________________________________ CDS Exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year. Through this exam, one can join defence services like : > Military > Naval > Air Force > Officer Training ~ Exam Types : > Written Exam > Interview > Medicals ~ Exam pattern :  ~ Eligibility Criteria : > Age Limits : • Military : 19 - 24 years • Naval : 19 - 22 years • Air Force : 19 - 23 years • Officer Training : 19 - 25 years > Educational Qualification : You must posses graduate degree with mathematics and Physics or engineering of a recognized university or equivalent qualification. > Marital status : Unmarried > Nationality : Indian AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) : _____________________________________ Requirements > Age Limit : 20 - 27 years Educational Qualification : You must posses a graduate degree in engineering from a recognized university.
