Re: Required Percentage of Marks to become an Aeronautical Engineer? Aeronautical Engineering is related to flying objects that remains inside the atmosphere of the Earth. This means that Aeronautical Engineering is the course where students are teached to design commercial aircrafts, fighter jets, helicopters and even ballistic missiles. Now the procedure to apply for Aeronautical Engineering is just like any other Engineering course. There is no additional requirement which the candidate must meet. So the process is that firstly you will have to clear the 12th board. Your subjects should be Physics, Chemistry and Maths. After which you will have to appear for the entrance exam. There are several entrance exam for Engineering. Some example are: Guj CET BITSAT AIEEE ISEET UPSEE IIT-JEE The AIEEE and IIT-JEE used to be the national level entrance exams conducted by the government. However they have been replaced by the ISEET from this year onwards. Candidates who are especially interested in applying for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology should appear for the entrance exam. While UPSEE is the entrance exam for technical universities in Uttar Pradesh. Some other states too conduct their own entrance exam while recently states like Maharashtra have shifted to ISEET entrance exam. ISEET Eligibility 1. You will be required to have passed 12th from recognized board. 2. Physics, Chemistry and Maths should be subjects in 12th. 3. Must clear 12th standard with 40 percent or more marks. |

Re: Required Percentage of Marks to become an Aeronautical Engineer? Dear Friend, First thing you must note that admission for the Engineering may be its any branch including Aeronautical Engineering is depended on two things,First is your performance in 10+2 Board Examinations as well as your performance in Entrance Examinations of Engineering. Mostly you should have at least 55% to 65% in your Board Examinations and for Entrance examinations its not particular but depended on the type of Examinations you have given whether it is National Level or State Level. Note if you have given JEE Examinations so there will be another set of Rules that is your 60%-40% will be consider that is 60% of Entrance exam of JEE and 40% of Board Examinations. The cutoff for the Admission in particular colleges will be declared in the month of June and July. While Regarding the Fee Structure so its depended on the colleges or Institutions but mostly fee of government colleges is low as compared to Private institutions. |
