My degree is valid or not? and am i eligible to writes govt exmas, like civils, ssc, bank exams. Please anyone let me know asap. |

Also I have few questions regarding b. tech courses that whether they are approved by AICTE OR not .In J&K the state agencies are not recognising these courses . It is no issue that whether an institution is affiliated to AICTE or UGC. It should be approved by any governmental organization. The university does offer part time external programs for B.E. in civil engineering so you can apply for B.E. in Vinayaka Mission University. Vinayaka University is approved by University Grant Commission Vinayaka Missions had its inception in the year 1981 with the establishment of the Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust. Not far from then, in 1982, the Founder-Chairman, Dr. A Shanmugasundaram instituted the Vinayaka Mission‘s College of Pharmacy in Salem, the pioneer institution of Vinayaka Missions. In the year 2001 the "University" status was conferred on Vinayaka Missions by The Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, with the recommendations of the UGC (Established Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956) as an acknowledgement of its excellence, satisfaction of the highest level of academic standards and best infrastructural facilities provided to achieve preeminence in education and by virtue of this recognition Vinayaka Missions trascended to becoming Vinayaka Mission‘s University (VMU) as the 48th University in India. |

 Yes , Vinayaka Mission University is approved by the UGC (University Grants Commission). However it is not approved by the AICTE(All India Council For Technical Education). But you need not to worry as AICTE approval is required for colleges offering Technical programmes. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query.
