Civil Service Exam is conducted by UPSC in every year .This exam recruiting the candidate of -

1.Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
2.Indian Foreign Service (IFS)
3.Indian Police Service (IPS)
4.Indian Revenue Service (IRS)

Eligibility criteria for Civil service exam is given below-

Educational Qualification :-

Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized university , the final year students also eligible for applying preliminary examination

Age criteria :-

The Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates

Number of Attempts :

4 times for General Candidates

7 times for OBC Candidates

No Limit for SC/ST Candidates

Selection Process :

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination

Interview

Civil services exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission every year.


The educational qualifications regarding with Civil Services exam are below mentioned:-

# Candidates must have finished their finished their bachelor degree in any curriculum from any approved institution.


# Candidates of last year of bachelor degree are also preferable for this exam.

# There is no need of percentage for this exam.


No. of attempts regarding with Civil Services exam are below mentioned:-

# General:- 4.

# OBC:- 7.

# SC/ST:- No limits.


Age limit and relaxation regarding with Civil Services exam are below mentioned:-

# 21-30 years.

# Relaxation:- 3 years, 5 years and 10 years are assumed for OBC, SC/ST and PWD candidates.

You can start writing the exam at the age of 21 years. Age must be less than 30 years. Reserved category candidates can have the privilege for age relaxation. OBC candidates can have 3 year age relaxation where as SC/ST candidates can have 5 year age relaxation. Eligible candidates can attempt the test at most 4 times.

Civil Services Exam:
IAS/IPS/IFS (Civil Service Exam) has three stages to be cleared by candidate.

Preliminary Exam

Main Exam

Personal Interview


Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.
