IAS-Indian Administrative Service.

IAS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in every year.

Eligibility criteria:-

In order to apply this exam the candidate should be complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

There is no restrictions on percentage of marks.

Final year persuing students are also eligible.

Candidate should be an Indian origin.


Age criteria:-

Age of the candidate should be in between 21 years to 30 years,

There is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates,

There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.


Selection steps:-

-->Civil Services Preliminary examination,

-->Civil Services Mains examination,

-->Personal Interview.


Number of attempts:-

Four times for General category,

Seven times for OBC category.

No limit for SC/ST category.
