Sir, I have applied for GATE 2012.i want to change my center fron bangalore to jabalpur ,is it possible to change now, and how to make demand draft and in whose favour,? i am confused in sending application to change center,please tell me the correct process. Re: Can I change my GATE examination center? good morning sir As per rules of GATE examination one could have request for change of examination center till December 31st, 2010 with a fee of Rs.400/- to be paid in the form of demand draft. The deadline for the same has been passed. So, you can't get your examination center changed now. Thank You |

Re: Can I change my GATE examination center? hi! Yes, GATE exam conducting board allow candidates to change their exam centre by paying some fine. But I am sorry to say but it is not possible to change your GATE exam centre now. Since the last date for making request to GATE exam conducting board for change of GATE exam centre has already passed. As per GATE 2011 notification, requests for change of examination city would have been accepted till December 31, 2010 with a fee of Rs.400/- to be paid in the form of demand draft (payment details) to the respective zonal GATE office. |

But I am sorry to tell you that, the time for applying for the changing of exam center is over. The last date is on 31st Dec'10. So, you cannot change the exam center now. you have to write the exams in Bangalore only. All the best. Do well |

But I am sorry to tell you that, the time for applying for the changing of exam center is over. The last date is on 31st Dec'10. So, you cannot change the exam center now. you have to write the exams in Bangalore only. All the best. Do well |

But The Dates Are Over So You Can Not Do Anything Now. So Please Appear In Your Mention Examination Centre. Next Time Be Carefull, Whenever You Have A mood To Change The Examination Centre, Then Please Send Application Of Change the Centre With in The Given Dates. After Over The Dates You Cant Do Anything. As only 12 days left for your exam & your roll No: has already been dispatched so its not possible to you to change your exam centre now.Moreover The Requests for change of examination city date has already passed as the request is accepted till December 31, 2010 with a fee of Rs.400/- to be paid in the form of demand draft.So its better to appear from the Banglore Centre. |

Re: Can I change my GATE examination center? hi, well upto my knowledge you cannot change your exam center until and unless you console with the IIT and then do according to what they say.we can change until certain time but after that time is over we cannot change.Dont worry about the center.you just concentrate on the preparation for it and give your best.nothing is impossible.you can do it. all the best. |

Re: Can I change my GATE examination center? ya! but there is a time limit for that.better you have to make an enquiry from where u bought the appliation or make clarification from which concern (IIT CHEENAI ,IIT KANPUR etc)under u r coming . |
