Dear friend, It is not possible.Because if you can do Automobile engineering then you must do diploma or 12th standard. it is depending on your marks.if you have good marks in 10th studies then go for 12th studies. Otherwise do diploma in good college. So.there are two ways to do an automobile engineering 1)After 10th go for 3 year diploma in automobile engineering and which will make you eligible for a 3year degree course in automobile engineering. 2)After 12th one can join a 4year degree course in automobile engineering. my suggestion is you can go for the Diploma in automobile Branches. It is 3 years course contains 6semisters. After that you can go for the degree. you will get admission in directly second year in degree. All the best................... |

Yes, it is possible to do Diploma in Automobile engineering after 10th standard which is of 3 years duration and after completing Diploma, one can apply for B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering through lateral entry which is of 3 years Degree course. Otherwise one can apply for Automobile Engineering after 12th from Science Stream through entrance exam like IIT JEE/AIEEE/other State JEE etc. which is of 4 years duration. |

If you have interest to do BE then go After completing diploma you can further do B.E in automobile engineering by entering as a lateral exams like CET , AIEEE , IIT , etc entry student. |

You have know that Commerce/ Arts / Vocational stream candidates are not applicable for Engineering course . So, after Completing you're 10th Standard you have you have to Operate 11th with PCM (or) Diploma in Engineering from recognized university then Only you're applicable for Automobile Engineering course . B.tech /B.E in Automobile Engineering is like an Bachelor degree course . The duration of the course is for four years and the course is divided into eight semester . Eligibility Criteria required for B.tech in Automobile Engineering :- => Applicants should possess a 11th and 12th Standard or Equivalent Examination with PCM from recognized university. => It's Essential that the candidate need to score Minimum 50% marks in order to join in this Engineering course . The Admission for this Engineering course is based on qualifying Entrance Examinations like, AIEEE /IIT-JEE/BITSAT Etc.. The Entrance Examination is based on Objective with Multiple Choice . The candidate who secure good percentage of marks in the Entrance Examination may get first preference at time of Admission for this Course . So, I suggest you to apply for 11th standard with PCM (or) Diploma course in Engineering course after Completing you'r 10th Standard . All The Best ! |

Re: Is it possible to do Automobile Engineering after 10th? Since you have just completed your 10th, you cannot get a full 4-year degree course now. If you seriously consider automobile engineering, ten you may take up diploma courses on the same subjet, Automobile Engineering. It is a 3 year course and will make you eligible to gain lateral entry, i.e., direct entry into the 2nd year into technical institutes. Or you can complete your 12th then pursue Automobile Engineering. |

After completing diploma you can further do B.E in automobile engineering by entering as a lateral entry student. however if u can manage to give ur 12th boards from open ,and get certificate with 60%marks aggregate and 50% in all other subjests then u may also u can get admitted to a school specially ment to teach engineering like,some schools in faridabad which teach u engineering stuff and side by side u can give ur 10+2 boards That is not possible.So wait patiently till you complete your 12th.There is a right time for everything. good luck |
