There are many branches of Navy like Naval Architect, Law, Logistics, ATC , Aviation & Education Branches 1. Permanent Commission Through CDSE Naval Academy, Goa Qualifications : B.Sc with Physics and Maths or BE Age: 19-22 years. Through Direct Entry Naval Armament Inspection Cadre Qualifications: BE or PG degree in Electronics or Physics. Age: 19-25 years 2. Short Service Commission (Men and Women) Through Law Cadre: Qualifications: Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks. Age: 22-27 years. you can apply to above jobs which will be given in employment news... Reply With Quote |

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC. Eligibility for CDS examination: Educational Qualifications: For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering. Age: For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years Important date for CDS-2012 exam: CDS-I exam: Issuing of application form from 29th Oct 2011 to 28th Nov 2011. Exam will held on 12th Feb 2012. CDS-II exam: Issuing of application form from 2nd June 2012 to 2nd July 2012. Exam will held on 16th Sep 2012. To apply the application form online,then click here |

You can apply if you have completed BE or B.Tech in any discipline with a first class. and your age should be in between 19½ to 25. You must have a minimum height of 157 cm with correlated weight. You must have the minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision -- 6/12, 12 correctable to 6/6 or 6/6 with glasses. You must not have colour blindness or night blindness. |

Hi Friend, Since you have completed your engineering in electronics branch so you can join Indian Navy as an officer through the following entry scheme. Type Of Entry:1. Short Service Commission - Electrical Candidates having degree of B.Tech in electronics stream with a minimum of 60% marks in engineering are eligible to apply for the above entry scheme. The above entry scheme is a short service commission and is only applicable for the male candidates. AGE LIMIT To apply for the above entry scheme the candidate age should be between 19.5 to 25 years. Type Of Entry: 2.Short Service Commission (Submarine) Candidates having degree of B.Tech in electronics stream with a minimum of 60% marks in engineering are eligible to apply for the above entry scheme. This entry scheme is also a short service commission type. AGE LIMIT To apply for the above entry scheme the candidate age should be between 19.5 to 25 years. Type Of Entry: 3.Short Service Commission Naval Armament Inspection Cadre To apply for the SSC(NAIC) Entry scheme the candidate should have degree of engineering in electronics stream. AGE LIMIT Candidate applying for the above entry scheme should have age between 19.5 to 25 years. So you can join Indian Navy through above entry scheme as an officer.
