Hi,

M.tech provides you more qualification to get into ISRo.

ISRO is mainly meant for the electronics.....

If you wanna do M.tech in distance it helps in teaching field......

If you go with regular then you will have more job offers.......

Better to go regular....

all the best.........

Re: Is M.Tech beneficial in getting job at ISRO?

Hi,
Higher qualification gives you more opportunity. qualification with experience will help you to go up easily. i think you should go for M.Tech to get job in ISRO. teaching experience is also important to join in ISRO. but you can not join as a teaching staff if you don't have atleast M.Tech degree.

if you have a chance to do m.tech from distance and at a time you can do a job then it's a very good option. because experience and qualification both will increase at a time so really it's helpfull.
Thanks

As far as I know you will get promotion to the next level 2 years earlier than a B.E grad entering ISRO at the same level(most probably Scientist B).For example if for the B.E grad it took min 3 years work to be promoted to Scientist C it will take you min 1 year of work.

As ISRO is a research organization and they are taking B.tech candidates also, how a B.tech candidate can do a good research when he has only limited knowledge about basic level courses. M.tech is not only for that you have to go for teaching field. after M.tech you can do whatever you want. obviously you can go for software job or in government sectors.

there will be more advantage to you to join in government sector or in software company if you complete m.tech.

so go for it. it is a very good choice. also you may go for higher study after you m.tech towards research field.

best of luck.

Re: Is M.Tech beneficial in getting job at ISRO?

Every degree that you attain has its own benefits. You will be able to apply to more jobs with a PG degree. A correspondence course degree has value provided it is from a good university. So if you plan to do a correspondence course, make sure you are doing it from one of the best universities that offer the same.

Yes of course Mtech is beneficial in getting job at ISRO, just because ISRO goes only to MTECH colleges for recruiting students. You have a great opportunity to get into ISRO when you do MTECH but you need to work hard to get that seat.

Dear friend

I think you have lot of confusion,so first decide what do you want to do in future. You will either join ISRO or industry. Then i can help you.

If you want to join ISRO , then MTech will be good for your future because it is a research field and there you need depth of knowledge .

Best of luck

hello dear,

1) M.tech play important role in company jobs. there is more benefit of m.tech study for job at ISRO.

It is an research field at ISRO for m.tech candidate.

You can join JRF/SRF at isro after m.tech.

So i advise you that you go for m.tech if join ISRO.

There are several fields after b.tech in m.tech as follows-

M.Tech in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics with First Class with 65% marks above.

M.Tech in Geology/ Applied Geology with First Class with 65% marks above.

M.Tech in Geo infromatics / Remote Sensing and GIS with First class

M.Tech in Optics / Applied Optics with First class.

2) Yes,dear regular based m.tech has more benefit as compared to distance.

In some cases the distance education degree in engineering field does not exist.

So you choose your m.tech study through regular.

3) After the study of m.tech, The experiance also will benefit for you in company life.

hey friend since you must be aware of the fact that now it iz the time of" survival of the fittest" since their is a lot of competition in todays time..being a b.tech you can enter an ISRO but if two canditate one only btech and other M tech then the candidate with higher qualification woulD be given more prefrance...
now taking in concern of other point of yours regular M tech from a good institution is much effective and more prefrential than the distance....so better opt for regular learning ..it would easy your destination of ISRO..

dear friend,

M.Tech qualification is give an advantage.it can lead to a SRF.

also it is more adventageous for a regular m.tech than corresponding m.tech.

For company job or PSU job experience give an extra value.and if you have M.Tech then you can go directly to the design field.

good luck.

Re: Is M.Tech beneficial in getting job at ISRO?

Doing masters gives you opportunities to capture easily in Govt., sector.
when B.Techs and M.Techs try for a job in Govt., sector M.Tech will be given perference especially in research fields.Since you want in ISRO doing M.Tech (regular) provides you a better designation as a scientist.

And coming with M.Tech in distance or regular.
If you want to join a company then they will consider only the course you have done in regular. But once you are into a company M.Tech in distance gives you promotion.experience is better than M.Tech as per present situations but doing M.Tech regular is also better but depends on the college you complete
