But it is a must that you must be from the science background and also Maths should be one of the subjects studied. You must have scored at least 50% in the same. You need to appear for the various entrance exams and if selected join for the training period. You will join the stream as a deck officer. As you complete the required sea time and the various exams you will be eligible for becoming a captain. |
