Re: Maximum age limit to apply for Government Jobs? i am a departmental candidate working in naval dockyard visakhapatnam . recently a notificaion regarding recruitment of chargeman-II is published in the same organisation. the notification says that the age limit for departmental candidates is 40 years,and for sc/st candidates another more 05 years,but recently i have crossed 40 years of age. As i am a OBC candidate i just want to know whether i am eligible for 03 years relaxation i.e. 40 3= 43 years. please send me the answer as early as possible. as the time to submit the application is very short. please send me the answer to this MAIL ID([email protected]) if possible. regards shyam |

Re: Maximum age limit to apply for Government Jobs? There will be number of job opportunities in Government sector. One can apply for public sector job opportunities right from 12th class. However it would be better if you complete Graduation before applying for Government job positions. The required age criteria that is required for the candidates will be varied from one position to other position. However for many of the jobs, it will be 21-30 years to apply for. Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. For the candidates with physical disabilities, the relaxation in upper age limit will be upto 10 years. You did not mention the highest level of academic qualification and the age criteria that you should possess. Some of the Government Job Opportunities for which you can apply for are -Bank Clerical Positions -Bank PO positions -Civil Services -Engineering Services -Indian Forest Service -Defence Services etc. You can apply for the Entrance Exam as per your interest. The government jobs conducts an entrance exam to recruit candidates for different posts and to appear for that entrance exam you need to satisfy certain general eligibility conditions as follow : --you need to satisfy general educational qualifications -you need to satisfy age criteria as a.in maximum of the cases age limit is within 21-35 years or in between b.in some of the cases relaxation is too there as : --for SC/ST : 5 years --for OBC : 3 years. Government sectors : government companies banking railways teaching postal municipal scientists defense services civil services investigation agencies doctors etc. good luck !! |
