Hello, As we all know that for Engineering there were two main examinations in India,IIT-JEE and AIEEE.The former for the addmissions in the IITs whereas the later for the NITs and various reputed colleges all over the country. But the Governmentof India(Human Resource Development Ministry)has decided to implement a common Engineering entrance examination known as Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test(ISEET) for the addmissions in the reputed Engineering instituions of the country including the IITs and the NITs. ISEET is likely to be conducted in the month of March or April 2013. Pattern-: ISEET wil consist of two papers on the same day. 1)ISEET MAIN-: Duration-3 hours. Logical Reasoning,Critical Thinking,Reading Comprehension will be the topics covered. 2)ISEET ADVANCE-: Duration-3 hours. Areas covered will be Problem Solving Ability in Basic Science Subjects,Physics,Chemistry,Maths. 60% will be the maximum weightage given to the ISEET-Main and ISEET-Advance combined. Whereas the weightage given to the 12th will be minimum of 40%. However there might be any changes in the future. You can sit in the ISEET 2013 after your 12th. Good Luck. |
