Re: Is Polytechnic good after passing 10th? If you are interested in engineering and you want to do your career in engineering, then you should be go for polytechnic. After diploma you can apply for B.Tech . But still you not have any choice then complete 10+2 & then you can join B.Tech, B.Sc, pharmacy or medical. I think you should be complete your 12th & appear for JEE to get admission in IIT. |

If you are Interested in more Practical Way of Learning then Choose Polytechnic way... Doing 11th+12th is far better than doing Polytechnic. After passing 10+2 with good marks, you will be eligible for many entrance exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, etc. But if you do Diploma or Polytechnic, then you can't appear in any of these exams and much more. So, I think you must complete your studies up to 12th from any board either CBSE or any other. But if you do Polytechnic, then you can get admission directly in Second Year of B.Tech of engineering college. But those colleges will not be IITs, NITs, etc. They will be private engineering colleges. All the Best |

Re: Is Polytechnic good after passing 10th? Yes. Polytechnic is definitely good choice for the candidates after completion of 10th class. There are number of advantages for the candidates due to Polytechnic course. Whatever the things that they are going to learn in Engineering will be taught in Polytechnic itself. Due to this they can apply for job opportunities after completion of Polytechnic itself. But such a kind of facility will not be there for the candidates who will join 10+2 after completion of 10th class. Soon after the completion of Polytechnic course, if you are not interested to do job opportunity and you want to do Engineering, then you can have good preparation and crack ECET exam. On the basis of your rank in this Exam, you will given admission for 2nd year of Engineering course in various colleges. Some of the course that you can join through Polytechnic are Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Diploma in Computer Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering etc. Opt for the course which you are interested and complete it successfully. You can apply for many jobs on the basis of your polytechnic diploma. -When others will be searching for admission in college you will be in your last year diploma and can start earningbefore them who are doing 10+2. -You can also apply for B.tech lateral entry into 2nd year after doing your polytechnic diploma. -So if you want to do job in less young then polytechnic is surely a better course. |

To get a job in these companies , you should have Good command in your Core subjects 2) You can apply for the post of Group'x'(Technical) in Airforce Your age should not be morethan 22 years for the post 3) You can apply for the post of Conistable in Police department 4) You can apply for Assistant post in Different Governemnt companies ** If you are intrested , it is better to Pursue B.tech after Polytechnic.
