Re: Is there any chance to join in 2nd year engineering after completing diploma in engineering? Yes, you can join engineering after diploma. It is possible through lateral entry. In this scheme, an entrance test is conducted for selection. Pondicherry University, Thapar University, etc conducts such type of tests. Reservation is there for candidates of backward caste. |

Is there any chance to join in 2nd year engineering after completing diploma in engineering? One of the known boys who has completed his 10th std this year wants to study Diploma first and then Engg. due to his poor family background. The question is whether there will be a chance to join in the 2nd year of Engg. after completing Diploma in Engg. If so is there any reservation and the % avallable as per norms.
