NEET stands for National Eligibility Entrance Test which is organized by CBSE for taking admission in various medical courses. Educational qualification for this:- Aspirants should be 12th pass from any recognized board. Their age should be in between 17 to 25 years. Exam date- 24 July 2016 Result- 17 Aug 2016 |

Re: How much marks are needed in NEET to get a free seat in medical college? Marks usually depend on the kind of paper you are giving and it's all relative. Tough paper:50 -60% Easy paper :around 75% So better be sure to secure your best ,as marks are all relative. |

The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. NEET has basically came as a replacement for AIPMT. By giving this exam you can pursue both UG and PG medical courses. For giving NEET you need to pass higher secondary exam or its equivalent of a recognized board. Since this exam is for the science students therefore you need to have physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology along with english at 10+2 level. It is important to secure 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology taken together. You also have to pass separately in physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology. Pass marks needs to be guaranteed in English too. This exam can also be given by the final year students. If you are about to sit for their qualifying exam or waiting for the results to come out you can also sit for this exam then. Your age should not be lower than 17 years when applying for this exam. There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates. Two ranks will be given to you. One is the All India Rank and with the help of that you can seek admission in any college all over India. Then there will be a state rank as well with which you can seek admission in the colleges of your state. For the exam give stress on the following areas:-

Sir,it's finally a big relief that 15% All India eligible candidates got their counselling letters.. what about the ones who haven't got the letter so far? How long is this thing gonna take to clarify us with our MBBS Medical seats?! And updates say that this year 5000 no of seats are to be increased,is it true regarding the fact concerned to fulfill the shortage of doctors?? Do reply under this regard! :) Thanking you, pruthvi |
