I've got degree of NIOS board in 12th and 10th from CBSE and B.Tech from NIT Nagaland You should be thorough with both technical and other subject areas when you are preparing for Section engineer position in railways. Being a technical post, more emphasis should be given to those technical subject areas studied during graduation level. You can study by referring model questions. This will give you a general idea about the general pattern or the mode in which question appear in written test. Mock test is another important mode of preparation. You should utilize your maximum time for practice. |

There is no specification that candidates should have the educational qualifications as a full time course. If you have done distance courses from any institute, it should be recognized by DEC. You can apply for jobs like civil services, defense services, and other major government departments. You can also apply for PSU jobs, railways jobs, IES etc after B.Tech. |
