XAT exam is one of the toughest exam in the list of management exam There is no minimum age limit for appearing to XAT 2013 exam should have minimum bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern of education Candidates must have employed in a full-time job with a minimum 5 years of experience. There are many top colleges which accept XAT scores for admission to their programs. XAT is a paper based aptitude test, followed by a subjective test on essay writing & general awareness. To give the XAT exam the basic qualification which is needed is a graduate degree. You must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university. If you are appearing for the final year of bachelors degree and awaiting results then also you can apply. As said earlier in the exam there will be an aptitude test and then a subjective one. In the aptitude section there will be 25 questions from Decision Making, 30 questions from Verbal and Logical Ability and 36 questions from Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation. You will get 140 minutes to complete this section. As far as the Essay & General Awareness section goes for this section you will get 40 minutes only. From General Awareness section 40 questions will be asked and they will be mainly on Current Affairs & factual GK. You have to attempt both the essay as well as the General Awareness questions. Re: What is the XAT cutoff for various colleges? Hi Guest, There is various top college in India which give admission to candidates based on the score obtained in XAT exam. If the candidate is scoring the best marks in the examination, then he can easily get admission in the top college. The marks in which the candidate needs to score needs to be the best score of above 70% throughout the academics in the written examination. If the score is less than the college will be a lower one.
