As per the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination . However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. But there is maximum number of attempts to appear in the examination. A candidate can at most attempt 3 times for CBSE board exam. My question is Will he be eligible to write CBSE Board 10th exams on 2030 ? If not can I skip LKG and put him into UKG? please advice. We are really confused. |

Re: Require Age limit to appear for 10th Class Exams of CBSE Board? I think you have made mistake in mentioning the year and by mistake stated 1921 instead of 2021. There is no minimum age limit to appear for 10th board examination by CBSE. It is responsibility of Directorate of State Education Board to declare minimum age limit for appearing in 10th board examination for student of respective school. So, visit official website of Directorate of State Education Board to get detail information. |

In every year so many students with less than 15 years of age are pass out in the 10th exam It is important that to keep in mind that you cannot join the CBSC schools in the midddle with less age A student studing from past years can continew to write the exam at lower age but not others. The students should be completed his 15 years of age before writting the exams @ BEST OF LUCK @ |

The students with less than 15 years are also eligible for the CBSE exam every year many students with age less than 15 pass out the 10th exam. It is important to keep in mind that you cannot join the CBSE schools in the middle with less age. A student studying from past years can continue to write exam at lower age not others.
