Candidate must have completed his 12th with physics, Chemistry and mathematics subjects with minimum 60% marks. Candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidate age must be above than 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 19 years for 12th class candidates and 22 years for the graduation candidates. |

Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing ♦♦ Eligibility criteria : The candidate should be complete +2 from a recognised state or central board. Percentage is not required for this exam. The candidate must be physically fit. The age limits is 16 1/2 yearsto 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Nationality : You have to be a citizen of India, or ____________subject of Bhutan, or ____________subject of Nepal, or ____________Tibetan refugee. ♦♦ The selection procedure to be placed in these Defence wings is by : (i) A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). (ii) An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. (iii) A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. (i) Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. You can't join Indian Air force, after 10th. You have to write NDA exam. NDA - National Defence Academy. Eligibility Criteria For writing NDA is, Nationality - Indian. Age - 16.5 to 19 years. Marital status : unmarried male candidates. Education: For Indian Army - 12th Pass For Indian Navy & Indian Airforce - 12th Pass with Maths & Physics subjects. Re: How to join Indian Air Force after 10th class With 10th pass qualification you will not be eligible for Indian Air Force. You must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths to become eligible for Indian Air Force through NDA Examination and other non officer posts. For NDA examination your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male of India. The selection will be based on the performance in the Written Exam, SSB Interview and Medical examination. You must have the required physical fitness and eyesight which is required for Indian Air Force. If you are found unfit then you will not be considered for the post. So you can take admission into 10+2 and complete it with good marks and apply for NDA if you want to become an officer in Air Force after 10+2. If you are interested in other posts then you can apply for Group Y trades and Group X technical trade after 10+2 completion. These are Non Officer posts in Indian Air Force after 10+2. First of all, you cannot join Indian Air Force after 10th class. Instead, you will have to complte intermediate with Physics and Maths. You will have to apply for NDA exam to join Indian defence. Through NDA exam one can join - Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. A candidate who has done 12th with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects can apply for NDA for Indian Air Force branch. Candidateβs age for NDA exam should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. Only an unmarried male candidate can apply. Girls cannot apply for this exam.
