Re: What is the age limit for group IV entrance exam? Dear Friend, Group 4 Exams is Conduct by TNPSC(Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission). TNPSC Conducts 4 types of Group Examinations. Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 These Exams Conducts at Tamil Nadu State Level for Different Vacant posts for Govt. Departments. Required Qualifications: Educational :- you must complete your 12th Class in any Discipline from Recognized State Board. Age Limit :- your age Must between 21 - 30 years. Upper Age Relaxation is Applicable for Reserved Categories as per Govt. Rules. Relaxation ::- SC/ST - 5 years OBC - 3 years PD - 10 years Syllabus for the Group 4 Exam : Current Events Indian National Movement Mental Ability Test General Science History Indian Polity Indian Economy Best of Luck............. |

Candidate maximum age limit is below 36 years. Relaxation: 3 years upper age relaxation for the Ex-Servicemen. 5 years upper age relaxation for the SC\ST & OBC. 10 years upper age relaxation for the PH candidates. Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen. Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Intermediate from any recognized state board of India. Selection Process: Written Test Document Verification Exam Pattern: 1. Written Examination: The written examination conducted by APPSC is of objective type mode which includes Paper I & II. Scheme of Examination: 1.General Studies:150questions 2.Secretarial Abilities:150 questions Duration:150 Minutes Marks:150marks 2.Document Verification: Candidates have to produce attested Photo copies of required certificates and Original documents and other particulars at the time of verification. Age Limit: For all the posts in Group 4 notification minimum age is 18 years. The candidates upper age limit relaxations are given below: 1.Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes - 35 Years. 2.Most Backward Classes / DenotifiedCommunities., Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Muslims) - 32 Years. 3.Others” [ i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ] - 30 Years. 4.For the persons who are trained in Survey in ITI in Tamil Nadu, in respect of posts of Field Surveyor and Draftsman only - 35 Years Hope this information s useful to you. |
