Re: How to start preparation for GATE exam in B.Tech 3rd year itself? my dear friend here you need to concentrate on all your subjects which is in your b.tech course .so need to strong knowledge in all subjects in b.tech.And also make a practice all previous papers carefully and refer some of the good books which is require for gate exam .snd need to concentrate on communication skills from now on wards good lucl regards nagamalleswararao |

Tips for preparation - 1.Generally 3 to 4 months of study is enough . 2.Get the syllabus first.Study every topic according to syllabus . 3.In the first run select the important topics .] 4.Revise those all . 5.Solve previous year question papers . 6.Try to give some practice tests .This will give you a idia about your preparation . 7.Fill up the gaps with extra study . Re: How to start preparation for GATE exam in B.Tech 3rd year itself? freind hi, ]--similarity of papers is more between CSE and ECE ]--you should bye GK-publication book for GATE syllabus, and prev.yr quest. ]--Syllabus, study material and the previous GATE question papers ]--gate score from this year is taken out of 100. from any department,minimum score is 25/100. forms comes in feb,exams in april ---one stop at gate is a good forum to learn all these about the sample papers all the best |

Re: How to start preparation for GATE exam in B.Tech 3rd year itself? Dear friend, At this stage, you have to clear your basic concepts on the topics covered in the GATE syllabus. Up to your present semester you can find most of the topics are covered. So with your course preparation you have to give extra time to practice GATE questions. After acquiring good concept over the topics, Practice with the previous year papers with time management. Try to solve the model papers also. All the best!! |

Re: How to start preparation for GATE exam in B.Tech 3rd year itself? Hi, You need to stress more on your core subjects. In GATE your basic knowledge is tested, so you should be very strong in the fundamentals. You can also refer to previous year questions to get the idea of the questions asked. Also as you a are in 3rd year, you can easily prepare for it while studying the college syllabus. |
