The Company Secretary Course is offered through Correspondence mode , however candidates willing to attend oral classes may do so by getting enrolled at any of the study centers accredited by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, but is optional. So, since you want to pursue the course through correspondence mode, you can definitely do so.

Since you have completed Master Degree programs, you will be exempted from the first stage of the course known as Foundation Program and therefore, you are eligible to enroll for the second stage of the course, called Executive Program.

Subjects in the Executive Program:

General and Commercial Laws
Company Accounts, Cost and Management Accounting
Tax Laws
Company Law
Economic and Labour Laws
Securities Laws and Compliance

Subjects in the Professional Program:

Company Secretarial Practice
Drafting, Appearances and Pleadings
Financial, Treasury and Forex Management
Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency
Strategic Management, Alliances and International Trade
Advanced Tax Laws and Practice
Due Diligence and Corporate Compliance Management
Governance, Business Ethics and Sustainability

The Company Secretary course can be completed by graduates in around Two years. The course apart from the stages mentioned above comprise of Management Training and the duration of the same is 15 months. Once you complete the Executive Program ( minimum duration=nine months), you wil be eligible to enroll for both Management Training as well as for the Professional Program and since the duration of the training is 15 months, you will complete the Professional Program before completion of the training and in this way, you will be able to complete the Company Secretary course in two years.

Fee Structure:

Foundation Program- Rs.3600
Executive Program- Rs.7000
Professional Program-Rs.9000
