Re: Can I do MCA after doing 12th commerce with Maths? Which additional subject should i choose with commerce with maths and non medical because after 12 i want to do first Engineering and then SSC (IPS)? |

Re: Can I do MCA after doing 12th commerce with Maths? Hai friend No,you are not eligible to do MCA course immediately after completing the 12th classs in commerce stream with mathematics. To join in the MCA course you need to complete the graduation from a recognised university.The course duration of MCA is of 3 years. MCA stands for (Master of Computer Applications) and the duration of the course is for three years and the course is divided into six semester and without the mathematics subjects you're not eligible to apply for MCA course in order to get admission. You have Completed bachelor degree course course, there is no issue regarding that. But, you should having mathematics subject in order to get admission for MCA Course. So, If you having mathematics subject then definitely you're eligible for MCA Course. Otherwise, It's difficult to get admission for MCA Course after Completing you're graduation course. The Admission for MCA Course is based on the Entrance Examination like,BHU MCA, JECA MCA, JNU MCA, MHT CET MCA etc.. So, the candidate who qualified in MCA Entrance Examination with good percentage of marks are eligible to get admission for MCA Course. Eligibility Criteria:- Applicant must be a citizen of India and all those candidate, Who have cleared graduation course in any discipline with mathematics subjects as a main subject are eligible to apply for MCA Course. Minimum of 60 percent marks in graduation are required to apply for MCA Course and the candidate who belong from sc/st candidates are given relaxation for So, If you satisfy the above criteria then you're eligible to apply for MCA Course. |

This course duration is three years. And it is divided in to 6 semesters. Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should complete the Bachelor degree from recognized University. Candidate should not required the percentage for this exam. But should have maths subject in 12th standard. There is no age limit for the MCA. All the best................ |

No, 12th standard commerce students are not eligibe for MCA course. A candidate who are completed their degree from a recognised university and Mathematics is a compulsory subject in 12th standard. Eligibility details for MCA:- The candidate should have to complete 3 years graduation from a recognised university. In 12th standard or 10+2 level Mathematics is a compulsory subject. Candidate must be a citizen of India. There is no age limit for MCA course. 3 years is the course duration. Entrance exams for MCA course:- NIMCET, BHU MCA, AIMCET, JNU MCA, LUCSAT, RMCAT, MHT CET MCA, KMAT, VITMEE, TANCET, ICET. |

Without that most MCA colleges will not offer you admission. But that does not mean if you had Maths in 12th, you can take admission for MCA directly. MCA is a post graduation course. You can not apply for a post graduation course unless you have completed graduation. You too will have to complete graduation and then think about taking admission for the Master of Computer Applications. It could be any graduation course that you can apply for. You can pick Bachelor of Arts, Commerce or Science. Or perhaps you can also take admission for the Bachelor of Computer Applications to later apply for the MCA course. But it will be absolutely necessary to have completed graduation course. After completing graduation you will appear for entrance exam to get admission for the Master of Computer Applications. AIMCET BHU MCA JECA MCA JNU MCA MHT CET MCA LUCSAT NIMCET RMCAAT Eligibility Criteria 1. Must be Indian citizen to apply for entrance exam. 2. Completed 12th with Maths as a major subject. 3. At least 3 years graduation degree from recognized college. 4. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation. The eligibility criteria could vary from college to college especially the percentage criteria. |

Yes but after the UG you will be able to write the entance test of MCA becasue any garduate student which have studied maths in 12th standard are eligible to write MCA test. But from my view you study B.Sc(Computer Science) except the BCA if you want to do the MCA becasue after the MCA if you will be apply in the higer study like M.tech then you will be not face any problem, otherwise may be you will be face problem. |

MCA - Master of Computer Application is a 3 years Post Graduation Degree course and can be pursed after Graduation in any stream but the candidate should have studied Mathematics in 12th level. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation degree with 50% in any stream from a recognised University is eligible to apply for MCA through entrance exam. As you have studied Mathematics in 12th Commerece, you are eligible to apply for MCA after Graduation Degree. |
