There are lots of job opportunities for civil engineers in our country because India is developing country and our infrastructure is nothing in comparison to foreign country.If you see the infrastructure in foreign countries then it is superb.We have to bring that type of infrastructure in our country.Another thing is our government is announcing metro railway facility in many cities.So its one of the good scope.In our country many areas are undeveloped and tommorrow we have to develope it.So there is good scope for civil engineering in our country.The salary of civil engineer is also good.So you can go for it. |

Civil engineering has got very good scope in India and abroad. With huge urbanisation, there is always the requirement of qualified professionals in real estate and construction industry. To become a Civil engineer, you will have to qualify any of these entrance exams – AIEEE JEE BITSAT [B]You should be intermediate pass with more than 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Scope of Civil engineering ~~ Civil engineers have good scope in government and private organizations both. There are many government organizations like central government, railways , ECIL, Bhel, GAIL where they hire civil engineers . Private companies like DLF, Ansals, Gaur, Eldeco, Mahagun etc. hire civil engineers. Other companies like consultancy companies, construction companies, housing societies, engineering services also require civil engineers. Job opportunities for civil engineers ~~ There are the types of jobs which a civil engineer can get – Project engineer Design engineer – Civil Civil engineer – Foreman Transmission engineer – Civil Site supervisor Construction engineer |

Apart from the above stated Indian Rare Earths Limited and Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited often recruits Civil Engineering graduates. Private sector companies acquire candidates with talent and knowledge. ATKINS and Mecon limited are some private sector companies opening the doors for freshers in Civil Engineering. |
