bcoz each math questions is multiplied by 3
logical and analytical by 1.5
computer awareness by 2
english by 1
now if u see total number marks has become 1000....
as referred admissions brochure

i read above that total marks for nimcet is 120 ... bt each question carry 4 marks total is 480 max how many students tell that they even have score more than 480? how?

NIMCET stands for NIT MCA Entrace Test.Through this entrance test you will able to take admission in NIT Colleges of India for doing MCA Course.As per the latest Information for NIMCET 2013,till now qualifying marks has not been disclosed.Only Choice of centers is available for those candidates who have been short listed through this entrance test.If you have applied for this exam for year 2013 then you may select the centers for studying as per your choice through your Valid Username and Password.

Candidates who belong from the SC/ST category should have a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor degree course.

Exam Pattern for NIMCET

Total duration of this entrance test will be 2 hours.
Total number of questions will be 120.
Total marks for this entrance test will be 120.

Exam Syllabus for NIMCET

Mathematics of 10+2 Level - 50 Questions.
Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning - 40 Questions.
Computer Awareness - 10 Questions.
English Language - 20 Questions.
