Students of bba cannot perform good in commerce but for ias commerce is needed

Hi I am a pursuing bba in aviation. It is my 6 the semi. It include internship. So my degree will be completed in next may and only I get provision certificate in August . could I attend IAS 2016 examination.

BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration is a 3 years under Graduate Degree course and can be pursed after 12th and you are only eligible to apply for IAS, Civil Service Exam in the final year of BBA i.e. Graduation Degree.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer one has to get through Civil Service Exam conducted every year by UPSC after Graduation.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University witghin the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

Hence i the final year of your BBA Degree exam, you are eligible to apply and appear for the Civil Service Exam.

If you have done BBA then surely you are eligible to apply for IAS examination but you have to fulfill other criteria.

Age Limit:

Age should be between 21 to 30 years if you belong to General category. You will get age relaxation if you belong to reserved category.

SC/ST - 5 years relaxation

OBC - 3 years relaxation

Selection Procedure:

-Preliminary Examination

-Mains Examination

-Interview

Number of Attempts:

General Category- 4 attempts

OBC Category - 7 attempts

SC/ST Category - No Limit

Hi friend
BBA is a bachelor degree and with this degree, you are eligible for IAS exam.
IAS means Indian Administrative Service. It is a civil service exam which is conducted by UPSC in every year.
ELIGIBILITY-
1. The candidate must have the bachelor or graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.
2. There is no minimum percentage of marks required.
3. Age limit is 21 to 30 years.
5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

general- 4 attemts
OBC- 7 attemts
SC/ST - no limit

if i have selected BBA and i will face problem in UPSC EXAMINATION, because in upsc the optional subjects related to commerce section are only accountancy and economics. then what will i do.

well the eligibility criteria for applying in IAS
1)minimum qualification-graduation (in any discipline means in any stream arts,science,commerce,management anything)from a recognized university of india
2)age limit-21-30 years for general category,21-33 years for obc,21-35 years for sc/st
3)number of attempts-4 for general category,7-obc,unlimited-for sc/st
4)nationality-indian
so you are eligible for applying after completing your bba and remember there is no minimum percentage bar.,

I am doing BBA , i want to enter into IAS exams, but i confused that can i apply for IAS exams with BBA degree,plg give me suggestions
