Re: Am I eligible for RTO exam after completing diploma in Automobile branch? Date of the exam and the selection criteria? R.T.O Officer is known as Regional Transport Officer exam. This exam is conducted by the State Public Service Commission. Basically there are three types of posts. They are:
The eligibility details of all these posts are mentioned below:
* The minimum age required is 18 years. * The maximum age upto which a candidate can apply is 32 years. * Coming to the educational qualification, graduation is must from any recognized university. * Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories. * 5 years for SC/ST category candidates. * 3 years for OBC category candidates. * 10 years for physically handicapped candidates. * 5 years for Ex-Service men category candidates.
* The minimum age required is 23 years. * The maximum age upto which a candidate can apply is 30 years. * Coming to the educational qualification, graduation in Law is must from any recognized university. * Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories. * 5 years for SC/ST category candidates. * 3 years for OBC category candidates. * 10 years for physically handicapped candidates. * 5 years for Ex-Service men category candidates.
* The minimum age required is 21 years. * The maximum age upto which a candidate can apply is 32 years. * Coming to the educational qualification, graduation is must from any recognized university. * Graduation in fields of Mechanical and Civil. * Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories. * 5 years for SC/ST category candidates. * 3 years for OBC category candidates. * 10 years for physically handicapped candidates. * 5 years for Ex-Service men category candidates. Coming to the exam pattern, there will be a written test and an interview. Candidates who have qualified in the written test are eligible for the interview process.
