Re: Syllabus of AFCAT exam?  AFCAT- Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT question paper will have 100 question. All question will be three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one marks will be deducted under negative marking. the total time allotted for the paper is 2 hours. Each question paper will have question from the following topic : 1. General Awareness. 2. Verbal Ability in English. 3. Numerical Ability. 4. Reasoning and Military Aptitude test. AFCAT syllabus generally include Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude You should have a good command over them because the exam consist of objective question with a span of 2 hours only And you have to smartly answer all those question because every question consists of 3 marks and your one mark will be deducted for 1 negative answer Iam sending you an attachement of model general knowledge paper and AFCAT Quantitative Aptitude Numerical Questions of AFCAT you can check it in attachements they will be really helpful for you also you can refer to R.S aggarwal quantitative aptitude book or you can also refer the following link for more information http://govtjobsresults.com/job-in-in...-jan-2012.html best wishes |

Re: Syllabus of AFCAT exam? The AFCAT or the Air Force Common Admission Test is scheduled for 27th March 2011. The exam will contain question from the following topics: 1.General Awareness 2.Verbal Ability in English 3.Numerical Ability 4.Reasoning and Military Aptitude test. There will be 100 question you have to attempt. You will be awarded 3 points for a right answer. 1 point will be deducted for wrong answers. So dont attempt a question if you are not sure of the answer. Wish you all the very best!!

AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Syllabus Eligibility Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.(More Details See the Notification) Syllabus:- Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. For preparations:- Books you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Composition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS. Even i have Attached some Papers you have look on it. Note:- Last date to fill AFCAT form was 22nd February, AND exam Date is on 27 April 2011(Sunday). |

The entrance test will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on *verbal ability, *numerical ability, *reasoning, *general awareness and *aptitude all the best |

Hi,its good that you want to appear for this exam.You an appear for the exam.The syllabus is as same as bank entrance and MBA entrance exam.You can mainly focus on the following field. 1. Reasoning 2. Numerical ability 3. Verbal ability (English) 4. General Awareness, GK 5. General Aptitude You can also refer to other competitive exams like Bank PO, LIC, NICL etc.You can make it through,prepare well for the exam. |

Re: Syllabus of AFCAT exam? You need to be prepared for an objective type paper. There will be a total of over 100 questions. You need to answer as many questions in a period of 120 minutes. You need to prepare in areas like General Knowledge, Reasoning and Quantitative ability. It is important to solve the previous year papers to understand the structure of the exam. |

In 2011 the exam is held on March 27 in designated test centers. --The AFCAT is a 2 hour long exam which will have objective type question. --Each of these objective questions will be provided with 4 options as answers. --The candidate must select the correct one from the given option. --The Syllabus of AFCAT exam will test students in the areas like Reasoning, Numerical and verbal ability. Other than these students will also be tested in General awareness and Knowledge. --The number of question will be 100 or more. --For preparing for the AFCAT candidates must prepare by solving previous years question papers and also must refer to books and guides indented for this exam.
