Re: Total number of students appearing in GET exam in ECE branch? hi..please mention the name of the company for which GET examination you are appearing for ,GET stands for the graduate engineering trainee and this post is generally for the period of one year in any company . during the GET period the candidate will be given training in the various departments of the company and there would not be an responsibility bestowed upon him and also the salary will be less than the executive engineer of the company which is the post than an candidate will get in any company after the completion of the graduate engineer trainee period . if you are applying for an public sector company then the number of candidates applying for the post can be more than one lakh and the competition would be quite tough but the on lakh students are inclusive of all the engineering branches in which the company is taking examination . you should work hard and prepare very well for an GET examination of an public sector company only then there would be an realistic chances of getting selected as an GET in these companies also after the completion of the written test there will also be an interview which will be quite tough and you have to do really well in the interview to get selected for the GET post in the public sector companies . |
