Re: How many times the SET Exam is being conducted in Maharashtra and Goa in a year? dear friend, S.E.T. - State Eligibility Test S.E.T. examination is conducted by U.G.C. and U.G.C.-C.S.I.R. twice in year. One is held in June and another is held in December. State Eligibility Test (S.E.T.) to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (J.R.F.) for Indian nationals in order to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research. The Test is conducted in Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. The result of June, UGC-NET is declared generally in the month of October. Similarly December, UGC-NET result is usually declared in the month of April. S.E.T. 2012 Eligibility:- --> A Candidate must passed 12th examination in any branch with minimum 55% for general category and for SC and ST student 45 per cent mark is required. --> A candidate must have at least 55% in under graduate for general category and for SC and ST student 45 per cent mark is required. good luck. |

Maharashtra State Eligibility Test for Lectureship is Accredited by U.G.C and Conducted by University Of Pune As a state Agency. This examination is conducted twice in a year, and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University ~~ You have to scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation ~~ Final year appearing candidates are also apply for this examination ~~ If you cracked the SET examination then you are eligible to apply for the post of lecturer in the Universities/Colleges of your State. ~~ You have to choose the subjects in SET On the basis of your Post graduation Only. ~~ The list of Subject is availiable in the official website, you can download the syllabus of your Subjects ~~ There is no Upper age restriction to apply for Lectureship Post ~~ So please wait for the notification and then apply for the examination and for more information check official website : http://setexam.unipune.ac.in |
