Indian Economic Service is conducted by UPSC.

For the Indian Economic Service one should have a Post Graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics .

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.

Indian Economic Service Exam General Economics-Paper I Exam - Download Previous Years Question Papers

The General Economics Paper- 1 is a paper of three hours and the maximum marks for this paper is 200. There are 13 questions in this paper. The question paper is divided into three parts as Section A, Section B and Section C. there is 1 question in Section A which is further divided into seven parts of which 5 are to be attempted. Section B of the paper has 9 questions of which 7 are required to be answered. In the Section C candidates are required to answer only 2 questions out of 3 questions. There is a word limitation for each section.
