Re: Can I apply for Bank PO in IBPS after scoring 12th with 80%, 10th with 58% The eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS PO Exam has changed recently. As per the changed criteria, you can not apply for IBPS PO Exam as you have scored only 51% of marks in your Graduation. The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for IBPS PO Exam is by completion of Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. One should score a minimum of 60% of marks in Graduation and relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category. The selection procedure will include Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge The required age criteria will be For General category : 20-28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. So, I suggest you to apply for IBPS Clerk Exam as this exam does not require any percentage of marks for the candidates in Graduation. The selection procedure will also be same to apply for these positions. Have good preparation for this Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

IBPS conducts examination for recruiting PO and Clerks in the 20 PSU Banks in India. The examination notification usually comes twice in a year. So just wait for the notification and then you can apply for the examination. Age Limit : For IBPS PO - 21 to 30 years For IBPS Clerical - 18 to 28 years There is age relaxation for other reserved categories. So if you belong to reserved category then you will be get age relaxation. SC/ST - 5 years relaxation OBC - 3 years relaxation PWD - 10 years relaxation Selection Procedure: -Objective Type Test -Group Discussion and Interview Only those who qualify written will be called for GD and PI. The written exam will have questions related to Quantitative, Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. IBPS - Institute of Banking Personal Selection which conducts P.O. exam for 19 Public Sector Banks. Eligibility for IBPS P.O. Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -Should have completed Graduation Degree with no percentage criteria in any stream from a recognised University. -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. -Should be a computer literate one. Yes , off course you are eligible for IBPS PO Exam after completing graduation degree..... Age limit- 21 to 30 years.This may be relexed upto 5 yefor reserved categories. You can apply through IBPS common bank PO exam and also in SBI Bank PO examination.
