If you are interested in Customs Jobs under Central Excise Department, Than you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams

This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.

This exam is held in three stages- that is tier 1, tier 2 and Interview

ELIGIBILTY --- Graduation pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation

AGE- Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
AGE Relaxations- 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates



Questions will be asked from the Below Sections in this Exams:
>> General Intelligence and Reasoning
>> General Awareness
>> English Comprehension
>> Quantitative Aptitude

Hello dude!

The function of the customs department is to control the import and export of goods with the purpose of collecting duty and maintaina check on the entry of prohibited and restricted goods.The customs officer ensures that Smuggling doesn't takes place.

The Eligibility details are as follows:

* Must be a citizen of India.
* Must have completed graduation from any recognized univershty.
* Candidates must have 55% of marks in their graduation.
* Must be more than 18 years of age.
* Must possess Vehicle license.
* Ability to work in flexible schedules.

The above mentioned are the eligibility details of the custom officer.In order to become customs officer,candidates have to write the civil services examination conducted by UPSC.There are two exams conducted Preliminary and Main.The candidates who passed preliminary are only eligible for the Main examination.

hi,

You wish to join as a Custom officer for this you need to appear CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) which is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission).


Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Final year appearing candidates should also eligible for this exam.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.


Age criteria:

Age limits is 20 years to 27 years,

For OBC category candidates 3 years upper age relaxation,

For SC/ST category candidates 5 years upper age relaxation.

Preliminary exam,

Main exam,

Interview.

~~~Way to become custom officer~~~

In order to become custome officer you have to give exam of IAS conducted by UPSC or any similar state lavel exam. To qualify for UPSC folowing elegibility is required.
1 Candidate must be citizen of India.
2 Candidate must be graduate from recognised university.
3 Candidates age must be between 21 to 30year.
4 Relaxation ir provided to reserved category candidate.

What is the qualification for customs exam?

Sir Iam sheik my qualification is BBA Comp.application my DOB 31.05. I like to join in customs so please give me the details about the
exam and the eligibility for the exams
