The reason for this is increase in awareness regarding the importance of health care to the human beings. Soon after the completion of MBA in Hospital Management, you can join as hospital administrator in various hospitals. As a Hospital Administrator, you are going to manage the various things in the hospitals like -Satisfaction of the patient with the services and facilities of hospital -Availability of each and every equipment wherever needed. -Co-ordination among various departments of Hospital If a particular equipment is not available in Emergency time, then it may result in the improper treatment to the patient. Mostly, the candidates can get job opportunities in -Clinical laboratories -Hospitals -Diagnostic centers -Nursing homes -Health agencies -Other health allied services. As per the salary offered, initially the candidates are going to start with the salary a range between Rs.10000/- to Rs.40000/-. There is no upper limit for the salary received by a candidate. You did not mention your highest level of academic qualification. Here is the eligibility criteria required for the candidates to join this course. -One should have completed Graduation with a minimum of 50% of marks. -Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC/ST category. The admission to this course will be given on the basis of performance in any of the following Entrance Exams -CAT -MAT -GMAT -SNAP -FMS -XAT etc. Have good preparation to the respective Entrance Exam which you want to appear for and crack it. Re: What are the job opportunities after MBA hospital administration? There are many job opportunities with Hospital Management or Hospital Administration. The Hospital Management course is also called Health care management. MBA in Health care management is offered by almost all universities in India. You can go for different Hospitals for Managerial or administrative field, or Nursing Home, Medicine companies. In Hosptials and Nursing Home you can be Equipment manager or Manager of Medicine department in Hosptials. ICFAI university offers Hospital Management course through distance learning. And this course is approved with DEC also for ICFAI. But if you are fresher then I have to suggest you to go for the course through regular university. For this you have to go for CAT/MAT/XAT entrance test and after that you have to face Group discussions and interview test. Best of luck. |
