PSU like BHEL, BEL, CONCOR, and NTPC recruit candidates with a fixed percentage of marks. You are eligible for a job in engineering service departments. For this you must clear UPSC’s ESE. In banks, you can join as Specialist Officer. In railways and defense you can try for Officer job profiles. |

Re: Am I eligible for PSU job? I have B.Tech degree in civil branch Yes You are Fully eligible for the PSU jobs. All you need to do is to write a GATE Exam which is held evry year. Now most of the PSUs recruit and call their candidates on the Basis of their GATE Score. ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear in GATE 2012 exam for session 2013 -15: a) Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. b) Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes c) Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/ Technology. d) Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE (I), AMICE (I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE (I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. ALl the Best

A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government can be eligible to write all PSU entrance exams. But there will be some percentage criteria. |

Re: Am I eligible for PSU job? I have B.Tech degree in civil branch Most definitely you can eligible for the Public Sector Undertaking jobs anywhere in the country. But provided you are meeting all the criteria necessary to appear for the entrance exam. You must know that job in PSU is not given without entrance exam. There are two procedures followed by the PSU companies. Some companies conduct a written test which is followed by interview. However lately, GATE is become more and more popular among the PSU companies. Instead of conducting written tests, several PSUs have opted for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering. You can apply for the job but must remember that there is no common entrance exam. Each PSU has its own procedure to select the candidate. PSU Eligibility 1. Jobs are only for Indian nationals. 2. You should complete Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 3. Minimum of 60 percent marks in the degree. 4. You should clear all the backlogs before applying. 5. A valid GATE score may be required. The score is valid for 2 years. 6. Your age should be 21 to 30 years. 7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 8. Relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST. Am I eligible for PSU job? I have B.Tech degree in civil branch am i applicable for all states ,central govt n psu jobs if i have my btech degree of civil branch from vit vellore ,tamil nadu? |
