The online Applications can be filled up to April 4, 2013
Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination: May 26, 2013

IAS Stands Indian Administrative Service

IAS exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year

IAS Eligibility :

The applicant must be Indian

The applicant should be complete Graduation in any stream from a recognized university

The applicant age limit between 21 to 30 years

The upper age relaxation as per govt rules

3 years age relaxation for OBC applicants

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST applicants

Selection Process :

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination

Interview

IAS Exam 2013 Important Dates :

Last date for receipt of applications : 04.04.2013

Date of commencement of exam : 26.05.2013

Date of Notification:05/03/2013

Last Date for receipt of Applications:04/04/2013(Monday)

Date of commencement of exam:26/05/2013(Sunday)

Civil Services Mains Exam 2013:

Date of Commence of Exam: 04/12/2013

Duration of Exam : 5 Days

Eligibility criteria:-

You should be complete graduation or an bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

The candidate must be a citizen of india.

Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible for this exam.

There is no required percentage to appear this exam.

Age criteria:-

For General candidates 21 years to 30years

For OBC candidates 21 years to 33years

For SC/ST candidates 21 years to 35 years

For PH OBC candidates 21 years to 40years

Number of Attempts:-

4 times for general candidates

7 times OBC candidates

No limit for SC/ST candidates
