Dear Friend At the bachelor's degree Union Public service commission conducts Combined defense services examination twice every year for the selection of candidates who want to serve for nation for the different academies like : 1.Indian Military academy 2.Indian Naval academy 3.Air Force academy 4.Officer's training academy Friend as you have mentioned that you have done your bachelor's degree in co yearsmmerce with 44% of marks ,so you are eligible in terms of academic requirements for the academies like IMA or OTA . Here is the age limit for the exam: The age limit for the different academies is different : IMA:19-24 years INA:19-22 years OTA:19-25 years AFA:19-23 years. According to your date of birth that is 07/04/1986 ,your age will be around 27 years in 2013 which is above all age limits for any academy . So sorry to say that you are not able to join Army due to age limits. Also there are not any other entries for you now through which you can join Army as an officer. CDS Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) two times in a year as CDS I & CDS II exam. I am happy to inform you that you can join Indian Army after passing B.Com with 44.86%. For this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year for Indian Army. For O.T.A age limit is 19-25 year. There are three steep of selection:- > Written Exam > Interview > Medical exam C.D.S. Re: Can I join Indian army after completion of B.Com? You can join Indian Army after completion of B.Com. through appearing CDS entrance exam. CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Nval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical Fitness can apply for Indian Military Academy of CDS.
