Re: How to apply for the position of Income Tax Officer after completion of B.Com in Computer Applications? To become an Income Tax Officer you have to apply for SSC CGL examination. SSC is Staff Selection Commission . CGLE is Combined Graduate Level Examination. You should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university if you want to apply for SSC CGL examination. The age limit for SSC CGLE is 18 to 27 years for General Category Candidate. There is 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category. The examination will have three TIER: -TIER I Objective Type Paper -TIER II Objective Type Paper -Interview or Skill Test on the basis of post applied. SSC CGL is conducted for many posts in which Income tax officer is also included. So when you apply for SSC CGL please mark your post preference to Income Tax officer . There will be negative marking in the CGL hence you have to attempt answers very carefully. For more information visit http://www.ssc.nic.in |
