Re: Will Management studies be helpful after M.Tech? Since both M.Tech and M.B.A are master degree, so doing MBA after your M.Tech is not recommended. Aboveall you have interest towards technology so should stick to M.Tech and prosper in that field as it has wide options. But if you wish to do a managerial job later in your life then you can do MBA after your M.Tech. It will be helpful in getting a managerial posts in leading companies. |

Hi frend, After MTec people generaly choose tow field reaserch and devlopment or teaching Your previous management study will help you out with teaching profesion and no requirement of further waisting time in management in future. But if you are doing MTec in production and ploning as a project devlopment curier then further management study will bring glory to your profile. Good luck |

Re: Will Management studies be helpful after M.Tech? hiii Management studies be helpful after M.Tech it depends on the company and the job profile you get after completion of your m.tech, it wont be any much difference if you go for management studies directly after the completion of your m.tech but it would be of great importance if you do your management studies after 3 to 4 years of job experience, you can try for colleges like INDIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS which is offering just one year program but it is valued more than even IIMS,but you need experience to join this program If you are interested in M.Tech Or technical Side then you don't need to step towards Management, If you want to go for management then go for it now, Don't put Extra Effort, It will screw you more seriously. Management has more scope and earning profile than M.tech But if you are interested in Technical Side then don't compromise your self for the sake of earning, Even you can earn more in M.tech. M.tech From IIT is more , i can say much better than any other course. Hope must have get my point.. good luck |

Because you have interest in technical section, switching to management will not be helpful for you at all. It will be better if you opt for some technical field job in the industry at this stage. That will provide you experience. Good luck!! |

Will Management studies be helpful after M.Tech? I am going to do m.tech in IIT. Now i am doing a course called Certificate program in business management, SJMSOM, IIT bombay. I am very much interested in technical field. After doing m.tech will management studies helpful? |
