This is a good question, as far marks are concerned, they form an important part in every aspects of life, whether you join for any job or exam, the main cut off for sorting is marks. Well, regarding you question, let me tell you in brief about this. >> Eligibility:- In certain companies ,they out their cut off marks as 60% in INFOSYS, HCL etc, but also some Companies Like WIPRO accept 70% in 12th, while other also go till 75%. So, the bottom-line is no matter what you are applying, if you want to get a top company of CTC 4.5 lacs and above, you must try to get above 70% in 10th, 12th and Graduate, this is mostly essential as i should say, as i have experienced calling for Intern by IBM, in which you need to qualify. However some companies like Facebook dont ask for any percentage, you just need to be very strong in any programming languages, so from company to company it differs, the method of sorting. Try to get above 75% in all if possible, this will be good for you, in future aspects. Regards from Forum!! |

Re: How much is the percentage is required in 10th and 12th for B.Tech? Marks obtained in 12th class are only considered for admission to B.Tech course. Those who have completed HSC with PCM can apply. Minimum marks required for HSC course is 50% marks. Admission is offered on the basis of entrance exams like AIEEE. Score obtained in state level entrance exam is also considered. |
