Re: Procedure to become an Income Tax Officer? If you want to become an INCOME TAX OFFICER you need to crack the CGPE exam this exam is conducted by the SSC once a year. First you apply and qualify in CGL Examination, CGL Means - COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION Conducted by the SSC Staff Selection Commission in yearly once Qualify in Exam you will get ITI Post (INCOME TAX INSPECTOR) , then you write Departmental test for ITO Examination conducted by concerned department i.e. INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT , you qualify in that exam you will get ITO post in IT Department.......... |

Hai, To join as an income tax officer you need to appear an exam called CGPE(Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam) which is conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- ALL THE BEST.The candidate must be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university of INDIA. The candidate who are persuing final year also eligible. The candidate should be a citizen of india. The age limits is 18 years to 27 years, 3 years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. Selection process:- Preliminary exam, Main exam, Personal interview. Syllabus:- General intelligence, General english, Arithematic ability, General awareness. www.ssconline.nic.in |

Hi, The examination which you will need to crack to become Income Tax Officer is known as Combined graduate level examination and it is conducted by the staff selection commission. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF INCOME TAX OFFICER: Educational Qualification: the minimum academic qualification required is a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no minimum percentage of marks required to eligible this exam. Age limit: The eligible age to apply for the post of Income Tax Officer is between 18 to 27 years. SELECTION PROCESS: Written Examination Personal Interview S.no. Test marks time(min) General Intelligence 120 General English 80 Arithmetic Ability 80 General Awareness 120 all the best. |

Age limit:- 18-27 years. exam pattern:- paper i- general awareness, general intelligence and numerical ability paper ii- hindi and english height should not be less than 157.5 cms. selection procedure includes written exam followed by the personal interview.
