The Basic Eligibility Criteria to take up job in TCS is :- 1. You should be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech with over 60% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA Marks in your graduation. 2. There should not be any backlogs or pending arrears in your graduation. 3. You should have good Technical and Communication skills. 4. If you have applied once for TCS and didn't get selected, then you would have to wait for another 6 months to apply again. |

Re: What is the eligibility to join TCS for freshers At fresher level, to get job opportunity in top companies like TCS, -You should be strong enough in subject knowledge of your academic levels. -You should have excellent communication skills -One front end technology like C, JAVA etc. -One back end technology like ORACLE -One operating system like Windows So, try to be good enough in these areas by the time you complete your B.Tech course. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Group Discussion Technical Interview HR Interview As per the required eligibility criteria, One should have completed all the academic levels with a minimum of 60% of marks. The academic gap of the candidate should not be more than 2 years. There should not be any pending backlogs. Have good preparation for the above selection procedure and crack it and ensure that you are getting job in TCS. TCS job will almost be considered as Government job. Once they hire you, they may not leave you at all. Wish you all the best. |

I have seen many of the candidates who got selected for TCS -through on campus placements -off campus placements At the time of pursuing your academics itself, TCS is recruiting you by providing the job opportunity. This will be an added advantage for you. You don't need to look for the job opportunities after completion of your course in outside market. You can directly join with the company if you have got selected in campus placements. Here is the eligibility criteria required in order to apply for TCS selection procedure. You should be a candidate of career 60. Right from your SSC to your highest level of academic qualification, it is must that you should have scored minimum 60% of marks. You should not have any backlogs at all. If you are having any pending backlogs, you will not be eligible to apply for the selection procedure. Your academic gap should not be more than 2 years from one academic level to another academic level. If you have appeared for TCS recruitment once and not selected, again upto 6 months you are not eligible to appear for the recruitment procedure. You must have 60% marks in every academic qualification means 60% marks or above in 10th, 12th , Graduation and Post Graduation. The 60% marks should have been obtained in the first attempt. If you have got 60% marks in 2nd attempt then you are not eligible for it. You can apply if you have B.Tech/BE or MCA or equivalent from a recognised University. So if you fulfill above criteria then definitely you can apply for TCS as a fresher. Your age should not be below 18 years of age when you are applying for TCS. The selection will have following stages: -Written Examination -Technical Interview -HR Interview So be prepared for the examination because the marks will count in the selection. Also note that if one has applied and did not succeed then he can apply only after 6 months. So if you are applying then please make sure that you are well prepared because you will have to wait for some time to apply again. So diploma holders need not apply. ## Along with the criteria mentioned above you also need to secure minimum 60% of marks in aggregate. This marks should be guaranteed not only at grad level but all throughout your career. You should have a decent academic career to boost off in short. ## The marks mentioned above needs to be secured at one go. Generally the second attempt of students to better marks are not considered. ## Generally in school we used to calculate the best of four or six and flaunt the percentage of some specific subjects only. But TCS when calculating marks will consider the average of all the subjects. ## If you have any backlogs then it should be cleared before applying for this exam. No backlogs will be entertained when you sit for the exam. ## Any break in education should be not be for more than two years. You have to give reasons for that and the break should not be due to extended education. The reason should be valid enough. ## You should do some crash course side by side when pursuing graduation like C++, oracle, java and so on. This will add more weightage to your CV. ## You should have good english communication skills.
