Re: What is the maximum marks required for bank job? Graduation is the basic qualification for bank clerk/P.O. According to the latest IBPS notification, graduates should hold a minimum of 60% marks. There are 4-5 sections for banking entrance exam. For each of the section there will be a specific cut off as decided by the bank. Usually the cut off percentage is 40 for each section. |

If you want to apply for the PO and Clerks posts in the Government banks than you have to appear in the IBPS PO and Clerks Exams Eligibilty for the IBPS CLERKS exams: Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass Age should be between 20 and 28 years Eligibilty for the IBPS PO exams: Graduation Pass Age should be between 20 and 30 years In the written test you need to score atleast minimum 65% marks to qualify for the Interview stage Also you have to get minimum cut off marks in all the sections of the written tests Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS Clerks Exams: Numerical Ability Reasoning General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry Computer Knowledge English Language Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams: Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry Computer Knowledge English Language Descriptive Paper on English Composition |
