Re: Can I give NET SET exam after completing M.A in Philosophy from Pune University Yes, as master’s degree is the basic qualification for NET/SET you are eligible to apply. You should have at least 55% marks at PG level. NET exam is conducted by UGC, twice a year. SET exam is conducted by respective authorities of the concerned state. Eligibility criteria vary slightly with state. |

You can also give the MAHARASTRA SET exams conducted by University of Pune Below is the minimum eligibilty for the NET as well as SET exams Post Graduation pass with Minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST candidates Maximum age to apply for the JRF is 28 years Next UGC NET exams will be held in June 2013 Notification will come out in March 2013 Next Maharastra SET exams will be held on 17th February 2013 Last date to apply is 8th January 2013 You can choose the subject Philosophy in both these exams |

Can I give NET SET exam after completing M.A in Philosophy from Pune University I have completed M.A. in philosophy from Pune university this year. But i was external student for M.A. Can i give net set exam? |
